Welcome to your Garden City Public Library, your portal for information and community networking. Our goal is to offer an array of materials ranging from bestsellers to new movies.

We have over 60,000 items available for checkout. Can’t find what you need, remember as a Garden City Public Library patron, you have access to over 62 libraries within The Library Network interloan system with over 4 million items. Requests may be placed directly through the Internet from your home computer or you can ask our friendly staff for help.

The library currently has 13 public computer work stations with internet access and Office 2010.

New additions coming soon:

·         More computer stations

·         New books, audiobooks and DVDs

·         Overdrive, digital media collection for downloading e-books. (May 2012)

·         New programs for adults, teens and kids, ranging from computer classes to storytimes.  
  

The library staff and Board of Trustees would like to offer our sincere appreciation and gratitude to the Voters of Garden City for supporting the Library’s dedicated operating millage. We look forward to providing the community with new materials and improved library services in 2012.
